Kyriacos A. Athanasiou

Kyriacos A. Athanasiou has addressed significant societal needs through the development of life-saving technologies. He is a Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Irvine. In addition to being a faculty member in Biomedical Engineering, he is also the holder of the Henry Samueli Chair and the Director of DELTAi (Driving Engineering and Lifescience Translational Advances at Irvine). He has served as faculty member at the University of Texas, Rice University, and the University of California (first at Davis and now at Irvine).

Nicola Mason

Nicola Mason

Nicola Mason is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine and holds the Paul A. James and Charles A. Gilmore Endowed Chair Professorship at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London and her Immunology PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Cibelli earned his DVM from the University of La Plata, School of Veterinary Medicine, Argentina, and his Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before accepting a
faculty position at MSU, he served as Vice President of Research at Advanced Cell Technology.

Meeting Dates:

  • 3 half days of meetings to allow plenty of time to enjoy the area
